THE MISION

The Nation of the Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan is an ecumenical organization—the contemporary expression of the philosophy, culture, and spirituality of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. It responds to the ancestral mandate, dreams, and visions of ancient prophets and seers—men and women of knowledge who foresaw the return of our way of life in these times through ceremonies such as the Sacred Tobacco ceremony (Sayri Tupac), the Sacred Pipe ceremony, the Temazcal or Inipi ceremony, medicine ceremonies in the Sacred Fire of the Half Moon, the sacred Mountain Vision Quest, and the Dances. Fred Ulfe Huaynapicchu (“Young Mountain”) is a custodian of these ancient customs that we call tradition. Young Mountain has the mission of helping others walk the path along the lines of the heart—a path that shows and teaches the right way of living through humility, will, sincerity, and integrity as fundamental principles.
